2026 Underway Across Clontarf Academies Nationwide

The Clontarf Foundation is delighted to welcome academy members, families, school communities, partners and staff back for the start of another exciting year across Australia.

In Term 1, Clontarf anticipates a record 12,500 young men enrolling in academies nationwide, including more than 1,000 Year 12 academy members for the third consecutive year.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Gerard Neesham said the start of the year always brought strong energy across the network.

“Every year we see the confidence, leadership and resilience of our academy members grow, and 2026 is already off to a really positive start,” Gerard said. “It is incredibly encouraging to see record enrolments and strong senior participation once again.”

Across Term 1, academies will be busy with registrations and welcome activities, family and community events, academy tours, Year 7 induction camps, regional leadership camps and activities involving Year 12 academy members. Partner visits will take place across many regions, alongside a focus on employment portfolio development and post-school planning.

“Our staff are back in academy rooms nationwide, ready to welcome the boys, reconnect after the holidays and support them to make the most of the year ahead,” Gerard said.

Clontarf looks forward to working closely with schools and teaching staff, engaging with families, partners and local communities and creating opportunities that support academy members to stay engaged in education and build positive futures.

With so much already underway across Term 1, the year is off to a strong start in academies nationwide.
