Term 1 has set a strong tone for the year, with more young men than ever taking part in Clontarf. A record 12,300 academy members are now part of the program, including a record 1,260 Year 12 participants preparing for life beyond school.
Across 161 academies, activity has been consistent and wide-ranging. Year 7 induction camps have welcomed the newest members into the program, while leadership camps across the country have supported senior students to set expectations for their final year. Employment forums in regions such as North Queensland and the Top End have connected Year 12s with industry, helping build confidence and open pathways beyond school.
At the same time, academies have remained active day-to-day, with strong participation in morning training sessions, school-based engagement, after-school activities and regional carnivals. Events such as the Clontarf Cup in Perth and visits from elite athletes have added to a busy term, alongside opportunities for alumni to reconnect and contribute.
