Dalby Academy delivers Easter cheer

Dalby Academy (QLD) joined forces with Dalby State High School staff to bring some cheer to academy members by delivering special Easter hampers in the lead up to the long weekend.

Consisting of tinned food, snacks, a newsletter and an all-important Easter egg, the hampers were delivered to the front doors of welcoming boys and their families.

Dalby Academy Director Christian Philpot said seeing the smiles on the faces of the recipients was particularly heartening.

“In these uncertain times it’s really important that we let these families know that we are here to support them,” he said. “There are lots of ways that we can continue to engage with the boys and these hampers are a simple way to bring just a little bit of joy into their lives.

“We are utterly determined to keep these boys engaged with their schoolwork and at the same time, make sure that their mental health and general well-being is positive.”

Dalby Academy is looking forward to what Term 2 brings!
