St Brendan’s Boys Shine at Employment Forum

's Boys Shine at Employment Forum (7)

St Brendan’s Clontarf Academy recently hosted its third Employment Forum, bringing together academy members and industry partners to explore career opportunities across Central Queensland. The event gave the boys the chance to learn directly from employers and build confidence for their future pathways.

The Employment Forum welcomed 52 academy members alongside 11 Clontarf partners who shared valuable insight into their industries, workplaces and employment opportunities. Each presentation was designed to be interactive, informative and relevant for the young men attending.

Throughout the forum, students represented themselves with pride through their strong engagement, curiosity and willingness to ask questions. The positive attitude shown by the boys was recognised by presenters and reflected the growth they continue to make through the Clontarf program.

Previous Employment Forums at St Brendan’s have already helped create genuine employment outcomes for students, and this year’s event once again highlighted the opportunities available for young people across the Central Queensland region.

A big thank you goes to all partners and presenters for their continued support of the Academy and its young men. Special thanks also to Jordan Atkins (Employment Officer) and Thomas Murphy (Partnerships Manager) for the outstanding work they continue to do in creating pathways and opportunities for the boys.
